  20. I'm glad to announce a NEW and very MUCH enhanced release of 'AddressAssist'
  21. (AA). Since its first published version, many new features have been added 
  22. - also due to many suggestions of the users, thank you! - to make AA
  23. one of the BEST address managment programs in the AMIGA world of computing!
  24. And more features will follow!

  26. AA ist designed to be a very easy to use, but yet powerful
  27. address managment program for use at work, at home, in clubs etc.

  30. Take a look at the some of the most important features:

  32.    * 16 field address database including 4 user definable text fields
  33.      (new in release 2: 2nd 'Name'-field and an all new 'Group'-field
  34.      to distinguish up to 10 address groups) two additional
  35.      multi-line remark fields with unlimited field length in separate
  36.      windows.

  38.    * Very nice and intuitive user interface based on MUI (which makes
  39.      it size and font sensible, 3.1 compatible)

  41.    * Two types of database/record view: the database List view provides
  42.      easy overview and access while the record Form view enlightens the
  43.      record's details.

  45.    * Ability to change the set of records to be viewed: all, only

  123. file is provided. Documentation in english, german and french.
  124. To spread AA all over the world, it would be nice to support as many languages
  125. as possible. If you are interested in providing a catalog file translation and 
  126. a short readme file for AddressAssist in your own language, please contact the
  127. author BEFORE starting to translate.
